A shout out to my colleague Julian Rockwood for the title of this post. In what can only be described as among the first and best examples of true digital cross channel marketing, Culver’s is now using Signal to communicate with their customers across email and SMS text messaging channels. And, they are using social media to promote both.
Others may present a similar face on their website, but they likely don’t feed a common database, or in our language, the Signal Customer Profile. Did you know Signal also offers both a Twitter client and a dedicated URL shortening tool to create and track links? End to end, Signal makes the marketer’s job easier while at the same time allowing tremendous flexibility in crafting effective digital marketing programs that leverage the best of all channels.
Customers like it when you speak to them with an awareness of their channel preferences and respond most readily to relevant communications that reflect who they are and what they like. Signal makes it all possible, for Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) businesses like Culver’s and any others wanting to be more effective with their marketing efforts. And who doesn’t?
