Being a great marketer is dependent on knowing who your audience is. Where do they live? How old are they? Who opens my email newsletters? Who clicks on my Facebook posts?
This week we’ll begin rolling out a new analytics dashboard for the People that you’ve added to your Signal database that offers answers to these questions. On a rolling basis, select accounts will have access to improved People Analytics designed to enhance your understanding of who your subscribers, fans, and followers are and position you to create more relevant and audience-appropriate content.
Now when you visit the “People” section of Signal, you will be provided with high level analytics that summarize your contacts’ gender, age, location, duration, and subscriptions.
Not only does this dashboard provide high-level intelligence about your contacts, such as age range, gender, and location, it acts as the bridge to leveraging this data as a segmentation tool for your email, SMS and social communications.
Click the links below each chart to create segment groups based on these insights you have about your customers. Future versions of this feature will automate segments by clicking on a map or pie chart.
This is only the beginning of our efforts to enhance the insights we provide into your subscribers, fans and followers. Next week, we’ll be introducing functionality for you to learn more about the people in your database from just an email address. In future weeks, we’ll be expanding the information you get when viewing an individual contact, such as including the conversations you’ve had with that person on Facebook or Twitter. We’re hope you’re as excited as we are about what’s on the horizon!
As always, feel free to contact us as support@signalhq.com with any questions, comments, or concerns.
Here are some things you can do immediately:
Understand the gender breakout of your subscribers : male? female?
Understand the largest age group of your subscribers.
Understand what percentage of subscribers are brand new, vs. those that have existed in the program for some time.
Understand how many contacts you have in the system that were previously subscribed to a list and no longer are?
